INDEED x NOMINT
Case Study
NOMINT and Indeed set out to explore the future of work, placing humanity, creativity, and craft at the centre of an increasingly technological world.
For FutureWorks 2025, Indeed asked for an opening film that could ground conversations around AI and innovation in something human and tangible.
In response, NOMINT created a deliberately tactile piece, built through an analogue-led process in which all 960 frames were designed, printed, and hand-worked before being reassembled into motion. Each frame was signed, numbered, and gifted to conference attendees, extending the film beyond the screen into a physical, personal artifact.
The film was brought to life by NOMINT directors Ariel Costa, who directed the digital version of the film, and Joana Sus who added the physical human touches that made this project so incredibly beautiful and special.
Premiering on the main FutureWorks stage, what began as a 90-second film expanded into an immersive cinematic experience across four screens, supported by in-situ environmental lighting, as well as a physical artefact.
The work set the emotional tone for the event, reframing technology as something shaped by people and reaffirming the enduring role of human craft in defining the future of work.

Creative Process:
We created the film digitally.
Printed all 960 frames.
Embellished every frame by hand, with care, imperfection, and humanity.
Scanned them back in to build the final film.
Gifted the 960 original prints to the attendees to take home.
This project is the result of true passion, teamwork, vision, and craftsmanship.
